Every structural steel package depends on the lift going right. Our operators and riggers plan each pick, set the equipment, and move steel safely into position on commercial jobsites across North Texas.

Rigging is where a schedule is either protected or lost. Our crews walk the site before the crane arrives, confirm access and ground conditions, and plan each pick around the sequence the project actually needs. Whether we are setting steel we fabricated ourselves or supporting another contractor's erection package, the approach is the same: the right equipment for the lift, trained riggers on the ground, and clear communication with everyone working below.
From site walk to final set, Hot Shot brings the operators, riggers, and equipment needed to move structural steel safely on commercial projects.

Answers to some of the questions we hear most often.
We provide the crane and operator for most of the lifts on our own projects. When a pick calls for more reach or tonnage than our equipment covers, we bring in the right machine through rental partners we work with regularly and run the lift with our own crew.
We walk the site before the crane arrives to confirm access, ground conditions, and overhead clearances, then plan each pick around the sequence the project is working to. Where access is limited, we coordinate with the general contractor on staging and timing so the lift does not hold up the other trades.
Our operators hold NCCCO certification, and our riggers and signalpersons are qualified to the standards commercial jobsites require. Documentation is available on request before mobilization.
Yes. We regularly support projects where the steel was fabricated elsewhere, and we coordinate with the fabricator and the erection team so the pick sequence matches how the material arrives on site.
Two to three weeks is typical for a planned lift, which gives us time to walk the site and confirm equipment. We regularly work with shorter notice when sequencing changes, so it is worth calling even if the schedule has already moved.

From fabrication and erection to crane work and mechanical piping, our team is ready to help you deliver your next commercial project with confidence.
